Patagonia Nashville was a massive transformation.  ACS found the beauty in a neglected factory warehouse from 1950 and turned it into a vibrant, award-winning retail spot. Finding a location in the resurging Nashville area of The Gulch proved to be a perfect fit for this eco-conscious brand because it became the first LEED certified neighborhood in the south. We worked with local vendors to maintain the industrial tone of the space and keep original building details when possible. We took care to bring poured concrete floors back to life, expose the wood ceiling with duct work and steel beams, unearth concrete block walls and used modern details such as aluminum dome lighting fixtures and suspended wire tie backs to create a rich, cohesive look, tone and feel. As an added touch, the geometric exterior mural by Nathan Brown Creative Works rounds out the modern design updates to this mid-century building.
