BRODETO | RALEIGH, NC

Brodeto is the highly anticipated Croatian/Italian restaurant by James Beard nominated chef, Scott Crawford. This is the second collaboration between ACS and Crawford Hospitality.

Situated in North Carolina’s Triangle region inside the Raleigh Iron Works development, Brodeto welcomes diners to an interior that is as bespoke and intentional as the menu offerings. Great care was taken with the space to transport diners into a relaxing, serene environment, one that is reflective of the coastal towns lining the Adriatic Sea where Crawford found inspiration for this concept.

August Construction Solutions was involved in the entire construction process to adapt the space for the needs of a busy kitchen, bar, and dining room. Custom details, paired with simple fixtures throughout, effectively slow the pace down so the food and company can be front and center.

The space is just shy of 5,000 sf, has generous bar and dining room areas and is Crawford’s largest restaurant to date. Despite the size, the atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and intimate. A warm glow from the pendant lighting washes over the dining room and bar area, highlighting the light oak details and Italian tilework. There is a custom ten-foot clay cast artwork created by Thomas Sayre that is both rustic and sophisticated in its connection to water, smoke, and fire. The custom mosaic signage by master mosaicist Olivia Wells is installed on the exterior with lighting to welcome, what is sure to be, a long line of diners for meals to come.

Few restaurant openings have been as anticipated in the Raleigh area as Brodeto and we are proud to have been a part of the team to open the doors. Below you will find links to select press for Brodeto.
